The app says recipes aren't available
CookWithThat uses Apple Intelligence, which needs an iPhone 15 Pro or later. Turn it on in the iPhone Settings app under Apple Intelligence & Siri. After switching it on, iOS may need a while to download its model; keep your iPhone on Wi-Fi and charging, then tap Check again in the app. Your saved recipes are still available in the meantime.
A recipe uses something I didn't list
Every recipe is checked against your list and your cupboard basics before you see it, but no check is perfect. Tap Report a problem with this recipe on the recipe; your email app opens with the recipe attached. Add a short note and send it. Every report helps improve the checker.
How do I change my basics, equipment or diet?
Open Settings in the app and choose Cupboard basics, Kitchen equipment or Diet and allergies. Diet and allergy settings filter ingredients by name, so always check product labels too.
I bought Plus but it isn't showing
Open Settings › Restore purchases in the app, signed in with the Apple Account you used to buy it.
Can my family use Plus?
Yes. Plus works with Apple Family Sharing, so people in your Family Sharing group can use it at no extra cost. They open CookWithThat and tap Restore purchases if it doesn't unlock straight away.
How do I cancel my subscription?
In the iPhone Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then CookWithThat. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid being charged for the next one. You can also tap Settings › Manage subscription in the app.
My saved recipes aren't on my other devices
Saved recipes sync through your own iCloud. Check that you're signed in to the same Apple Account on each device and that iCloud is switched on for CookWithThat in the iPhone Settings app under your name › iCloud. Syncing can take a few minutes.
Is the food safe?
Recipes are AI-assisted. Recipes with meat, fish, eggs or rice include safe-cooking notes based on official guidance, but always check product labels for allergens and cook food until it's safe to eat. See Settings › Safety & disclaimer in the app.
